Bernard Street is famed for a claustrophobic Tube station and a brutalist shopping centre. It is not the kind of place where one would expect to find the shangri-la of comfort rooms.
Yet within the newly refurbished, sweet-smelling gothic splendour of the Kimpton Fitzroy, there is a fragrant and well decorated necessary house with lovely soap. Definitely the best ty bach on Bernard Street, possibly the best comfort room in London.
