For a night club toilet, the gent’s conveniences at the Cavern Club are surprisingly clean. The they smelled of mid-market cleaning products, had decidedly un-sticky floors and soap with a name that belongs on one of the more trippy songs on the Sargent Pepper Album.

However, the famous face in the little boy’s room is guitarist Eric Clapton. If only the picture of this beardy, bigoted, twit was painted on to the urinals rather than placed above it.
